The Bright Thinking in Solar

SunFrame Rail System

Unirac’s SunFrame system leads the PV market with its superior aesthetics. Its sleek design is engineered to sit low to the roof without gaps and implements shared rails for the best value.

SunFrame is also the choice of solar experts as an optimal solution for custom carport structures. It's accompanied by a technical support system that provides complete installation and code compliance documentation, an on-line estimator and design assistance to help you solve the toughest challenges.

Flush Mount
Unirac documentation provides the technical information to demonstrate SunFrame’s structural integrity and to ease permitting. Follow our step-by-step procedures to satisfy your building inspector.
Flush Mount
Mount SunFrame vertically for a triple benefit: Cladding shades and cools your building, produces PV power, and looks great.
Flush Mount
Low and clean lines give SunFrame two advantages. The finished array stands off the roof just enough for cooling air flow to optimize module performance and all modules sit in low, gap-free rows without protrusions from the sides of the array.
Flush Mount
Kyocera's award-winning Solar Grove carports used SunFrame to mount a total of 1,400 Kyocera modules and 200 custom-manufactured, light-filtering PV modules over their employee parking lot in San Diego.

Case Study

Case Study: The TriBeCa Green building

SunFrame-mounted modules forms the vertical facade of The TriBeCa Green building in Manhattan. Thirteen rows, each holding 10 SunPower 210 watt PV modules, provide more than 27 clean kilowatts. The New York City installer altPOWER completed the project in August 2005.

Key Benefits
