Case Study: High Visibility Sunflowers
Unirac adapted its standard 6-inch poletop rack to fit the Public Service Company of New Mexico's request for a high visibility PV array to raise public awareness of its new photovoltaic incentive program. We also designed and manufactured a 12-foot-tall, 8-inch pole for each of the 22 units. To give them the appearance of sunflowers, all racking parts, including the poles were powder coated forest green or yellow. SolarMount HD (heavy duty) rails and standard bottom-mounting clips needed no modification to accommodate the unique module pattern that enhanced the look of flowers.
