Warehouse Quality Controller (QC).

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all paperwork associated with Work Orders and/or Sales Orders are in good order for historical record keeping:
    • Shop sheets kept together and all turned in
    • Packing slips filled out correctly
    • Product traceability records maintained (SunPower)
  2. Ensure products from Shop are up to dimensional and workmanship spec requirements
  3. Ensure the parts used in the Packing area are fabricated to spec., meet workmanship requirements
  4. Ensure the packing procedures are being followed
  5. Ensure that the counts are correct
    • Quantity of parts per part number being shipped
    • All parts (line items) per the order are in the shipment (unless any part numbers are on back order)
  6. Ensure the correct labels are used and in the correct location per the packing procedures

  8. Ensure international orders are flawless as any discrepancies between paperwork and actual parts shipped will delay the shipment at customs.
  9. Verify Remco bins are maintained for:
    • Right products in bins
    • Quantities support near term demand & Remco is aware of needs to ensure we have order fulfillment capability at all times.
  10. Works with Order Entry / Shipping to resolve customer complaints regarding missing parts, wrong parts shipped, etc.
  11. Documents all of the above on appropriate forms so we can see the data, trends, and areas that need improvement

  • Great people skills in providing constructive feedback on inspection findings
  • The ability to teach and lead employees how to improve their performance rather than criticize for less than perfect performance
