PV PoleTops deliver flexible, proven designs and durability anywhere in the field. All PV PoleTops mount modules quickly and easily to SolarMount standard or HD (heavy duty) rails, giving larger arrays great strength across long rows.

PV PoleTops Series 5000

Single row pole top rack intended for a 2.5-inch (65 mm) Schedule 40 steel pole, outside diameter 2.875 inches (73.0 mm).

PV PoleTops Series 5001

Single row pole top rack intended for a 3-inch (80 mm) Schedule 40 steel pole, outside diameter 3.500 inches (88.9 mm).

PV PoleTops Series 5002

Single row pole top rack intended for a 4-inch (100 mm) Schedule 40 steel pole, outside diameter 4.500 inches (114.3 mm).

Case Study: High Visibility Sunflowers

Unirac adapted its standard 6-inch pole top rack to fit PNM’s aesthetic requirements. We designed and manufactured a 12-foot-tall, 8-inch pole for each of the 22 units. To give them the suggestions of flowers, all racking parts, including the poles, took a powder coating of forest green or yellow.

The Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) wanted a high visibility PV array to raise public awareness of its new photovoltaic incentive program. They choose Unirac to design and manufacture custom pole top racks with superior aesthetics to be installed adjacent to Interstate 25 between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
